The Barclays Wealth & Investments team offers bespoke banking and investment solutions to high net worth clients. Our Wealth Planners act as trusted advisors to their clients, offering them solutions, products and services that are tailored to their needs.
People who join this team will typically go into either a Wealth Planning or Wealth Client Service role.
The specialist functions provided by our award-winning Wealth & Investments team offer fantastic opportunities for personal development. With a wide range of market-leading products at your disposal, you’ll provide full wealth planning services, and manage and build our customer portfolio. Identifying and securing new client relationships as well as providing vital financial advice.
This role suits candidates who have had previous wealth planning experience dealing with high net-worth clients. You’ll be hands-on and at your best advising customers on the full spectrum of financial planning.
Wealth Client Service Executive
As the main point of contact to some of our wealthiest customers, you’ll have responsibility for dealing with a wide range of their banking-related queries. Working closely with senior members of the bank, you’ll constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve our processes.
Good customer service skills are a must, as is an interest in financial services. We’ll give you all the tools you need to build on your knowledge. But what we’ll require from you is an ability to connect with our clients, relate to them and build strong relationships.

Our Global Investment & Solutions team is made up predominantly of technical experts, each one focusing on a different area of specialism. The one common role is that of Portfolio Manager, which involves delivering best-thinking investment solutions to individuals and groups of clients.
Some of the responsibilities that come with this role include working with Private Bankers to build the client base, helping to set business goals and objectives, and playing a key part in developing the business at market, regional and global levels.
We look for people who have a proven track record in sales and the ability to access and influence the client base. The role also calls for relevant technical skills, excellent banking product knowledge, and multidiscipline investment expertise.
